Nice find. But I'm sure you know that is a mixed set you have. The little set was made in both red and green, loco and 2 matching cars.

Well done Papa! I have an orange & yellow set with the same loco and two cars, but sadly, mine doesn't run. I do NOT have the courage to open up that bizarre little enclosure they're calling a "motor" and see what's wrong with it either!

Thanks for the input Chuck. Info on these is a little hard to come by. The TCQ has a little bit including a 1930 Toyfair ad, but it's black & white. If you have any on line sources for info, I'd love to know.

Got this with 3 locomotives, one coach and the Little Dynamo transformer. One of the other loco's is a C5 with a working motor, but no pick up. I may fashion a slider pick up out of brass to have a working back up. The other loco is rough with only a partial motor. Guess I need to start searching for at least one more coach. They will look good pulling some early Flyer Hummer freights also.

Sorry, no on-line sources. My Ex boss, Warren Mizell, had both red and green sets on display at the store. Maybe there are more colors out there by Nacht. post.

Here is a link to pictures of everything in the lot I picked up. The Little Dynamo works but am wondering if it would have had a rheostat with it being as it is fixed voltage.

Warren retired from the store in August...New owner now.
