I've looked underneath, & also took the shells off. Is there a way to remove the side frames or is there another solution?

I just checked the owners manual & it explains the procedure. I'll give it a shot tomorrow after a good nights sleep.
Do the truck sideframes not come off from the underside?
Right after I posted this thread I found the manual on the MTH website. The trucks need to be partially removed and this is illustrated in the owners manual.
