I have an MTH 30-1568-1, 4-6-4 Hudson steam engine running on DCS, Atlas track. The Hudson, plus all my other engines run fine on all 10 Atlas switches, except the Hudson cuts out on the Atlas O72/O54 curved switch. It actually loses the DCS signal and shuts itself off. If I run it at 35 smph, it will hesitate for a fraction of a second and if I go 50 smph, it sails through the switch. How do I run that engine through that switch slowly? There must be some trick wiring thing I need to do, but I haven't a clue. It does the same thing through both sections of the switch. I've cleaned the wheels, pickup rollers and pickup spring copper conductors on the wheels. Didn't help. Any ideas?

Does it loose the DCS signal or track power?

Doubt it could loose just the signal if it is repeatedly only on the same turnout. More likely a ground issue caused by the darn rubber tires, less likely a roller spacing issue since it is a small switch.

Are all of the outer rails (not just one side of the track) connected to common?
