Superbass essentially is an upgraded speaker system found on some legacy diesels; these speakers provided deeper bass notes to better capture the throb and roar of diesel engines.

Sound masking is a new feature found in Legacy 1.5 and on newer Legacy diesels. Essentially masking enables you to select which locomotive in the lash-up generates the horn and cab/tower chatter sounds.

Just got my new legacy 990 a couple of days ago (an upgrade from tmcc). I have been taking the manual to work and reading it on my breaks. I've loaded some engines and started to get the feel of how to navigate the remote. I would like to program a lashup, but I have a couple of questions. Once a lashup is created, how do I re-address it? Is it the head engine ID# ? Or does the lashup have its own address? Also if you shut down for the night, will the lashup still be in the system? Or do you have to re-program it each time you turn the lagecy on/off? Any info will help!

Thanks guys!
