I purchased three American Freedom Train p. Cars at York. No boxes, no #s. Car #s are 202, 203, 204, O ga.  I found on product locator #20-66074 slpr/diner, but no coaches in the first 20 pages. Can anybody help with the catalog #s? Also Idon’t know the identity of the dealer. The booth was located to the left (Train World end) maybe one row (?) to the right of mr muffin and near the back (MTH-Lionel wall) . Booth was open horseshoe with middle island.

Can anyone help I’d dealer or have a map of the Orange Hall? Thanks.

Wally

Since you listed a MTH product number, I assume you are talking about MTH's AFT set.  MTH made them twice.  I have the first set of seven cars and it is made up of:

20-6593 (3 coaches/observation)

20-6693 (sleeper/diner)

20-6793 (Vista Dome)

These cars, as well as the second set, are MTH's regular streamlined passenger car sets painted in AFT colors.  Except for maybe the baggage cars which could be used as the AFT's storage cars, the MTH AFT sets are pure fantasy and have no resemblance to the real cars.

K-Line (long time ago) and Lionel (recently) have made much more accurate AFT cars.  However, Lionel has not yet made car numbers 202, 203, or 204.  So, if these cars don't say MTH on the bottom then they are K-Line. If these are K-Line, then you are on your way to getting a great set, and you only have 14 more cars to get.

Jim M sr - Are you RPO?  Thanks for the location, etc.

Ron - Anychance of finding the K-Line cars? I saw 2 Lionel(?)  It will be very difficult to get the whole K-Line 17-car set (not counting the museum car) by buying individual cars.  If you want the complete set of 17 cars, you may have to buy the complete set from someone who already has put the full set together.  Here is how the cars were delivered:

First produced was set K-1122, made up of K3601-4449 GS-4 engine/tender and K4601A AFT 5-car set.  The engine was traditional sized, not scale.  The cars were the two showcase cars 40 and 41, display cars 101 and 110, and observation 205.  More of these sets were produced than the other cars so they can be found separately.  This set can be found by itself and would make a nice train with the cars you have.

The remaining eight display cars were individual sale, but fewer of each of these cars were made compared to the set above.  The numbers were K4601-30102 (for car 102) through K4601-30109 (for car 109).  Don't see these for separate sale very often.  Usually you will find them being sold as a set with the cars above.

The four "crew cars" came together in set K-4601B and fewer of these cars were made than the display cars, making them very hard to find.  These cars were 201, 202, 203, and 204.

AFT cars 18 or 21” @ 195.  Thanks for the info.  Except for the tool car and car 201, all the real AFT cars were 70' or 72' cars.  The showcase, display, and support cars were made from NYC 9100 series 70' baggage cars (one was a SR baggage).  202, 203, 204, and 205 were Reading 72' coaches.  201 was an SP 85' Pullman and the tool car started life as 80' HW baggage/dorm car.  All of K-Line's AFT cars are the correct length except 201 which is short at 18".  So far all of Lionel's cars are the correct length since they used a separate sale 21" sound car for 201.

I have all 10 of Lionel's display cars for sale (cars 101 through 110).  I was going to replace my K-Line display cars because the K-line cars were too heavy for my engines, but I've decided to keep my K-Line set together.
