I ordered the Pennsy coal hauler set
6 84953 to add to my PRR INVENTORY, I don't have a H10, now I will.
I was going to order the NYC Niagara but finally decided not to. Don't run to much NYC.

So far I ordered the Niagara, Toronto Hamilton and Buffalo GP-7 (both numbers ), the scale auto racks, some Lion scale cars....................Paul
Long Island H10, Southern SW7 ...Would really like to see the white fastrack in 072 curves and larger..I will wait on the Niagara and see how they are reviewed
NOTHING, I am waiting to see how the last stuff I ordered arrives first. The QC from lionel has taken a dump and I dont want to get a bunch of messed up stuff
Halloween caboose to match the engine from last year, the set of naughty/nice ore cars to compliment a similar set from years ago, and the Halloween witch/ghost flying tower gizmo. I won't commit to anything else. Right now tinplate is my latest fascination, and feels like it will stay that way for a while.

I agree with you 100%..I almost cancelled my order on several occasions. I normally don't discuss my issues with a manufacturer; however, I was very unhappy when I heard Lionel pulled the warranty out of the new 21 inch passenger cars. I have the entire AFT set on order. I would hate to have an issue with the cars in two months with no warranty. Hopefully they will still warranty the electronics in the station sounds car. Its hard to justify spending this amount of money without some form of warranty. Just my humble opinion
Brian
The 9 car set of Union Pacific LED boxcars.
0, not for any QC issues but the fact nothing interests me. I will say this, after the mogul debacle I won't be doing any pre-ordering anymore unless it's 3rdrail.
Booker, what do you mean Lionel pulled the warranty on these cars? They aren't warrantying them or they don't have parts to repair them?
My friends who have ordered the cars (and since returned the cars) did not receive instruction manuals in any of the sets. The limited warranty is usually included on the back of the manual. Thats why I loosely used the term "pulled". It is also my understanding that there are no parts to repair the cars. Hopefully that provides clarification, sorry for being a bit vague.

I put in an order at my LHS for the new LionChief Super Chief train set. I was trying to decide between that or the Hot Wheels one, but my love of the Warbonnet won out! It will join my collection of Santa Fe by Lionel that I run!
I ordered the 3 pack of PRR hoppers in the MOW scheme and also one of the tank cars with sounds.
Niagara 6013 (hope its a Lucky number?)
Reading & Northern 425
Reading & Northern Aux tender
Reading & Northern Observation car
NS Camera caboose
OK, I'm waiting to get the results of my UP and AFT car inspection from Nicholas Smith to see if I am going to continue to be a Lionel customer. Seems liek they are shipping lots of problems these days and Id like to remain happy in my hobby
Nothing pre-ordered, not worth the gamble to receive product that has to be returned for repairs.
Bill
Nothing
Dave
No preorders but plan on getting the Lionchief Plus Lionel Lines 726 to pull some traditional equipment on the holiday layout.
I liked a few of the scale cars but the new trucks are a deal breaker for me
Nothing!!!!!!
Being a former Navy (AG) and Army (SC), I ordered the following:
6-85315 UP "1943" (1) - 6-85408 UP "1943" LED boxcar (2) - 6-85401 UP LED boxcar (1) - 6-85316 UP "1943" caboose (1)
Just in case, I will continue to eat my "Lucky Charms" at breakfast before arrival.
George (LAZ), I ordered the same number Niagara. Hope they make more then one. LOL.......Paul
Not placed yet, but for the most part, I am sticking to lower risk (per $) items in the rolling stock department. Most likely will still order several Disney items (Villains Hi Cubes, Chip and Dale chase gondola), the Presidents series caboose to go with some of the the cars I have from the past. Maybe one of the camera cabooses, not sure. Will still buy a Christmas boxcar. Considering a few Polar Express cars to go with the LC set I got at Christmas, but pretty sure I'm not interested in all of them (though I am curious why they left the conductor announcements car out of the offerings).
I had briefly considered a Niagara or the H10 Pennsy set with the Hoppers, but the recent SP 21" car thread left me with a great big negative impression of quality (or amplified my already somewhat negative feelings, it's not like I thought things were "pie in the sky" before that). I did order the Broadway Limited set from the previous catalog, so I am a bit worried about how that will come out in the quality department. Not ordering any other big ticket items until that shows up and I see how they did. (And just to be clear, I'm not calling them out on any small details that may be technically incorrect, just blatant manufacturing defects on what they actually produce.)

Lion Chief Plus GP38 in the NS First Responders livery. I’ve already acquired some rolling stock in this colorful paint scheme. This will be my motive power to put together a set of my own creation.
Was thinking about one of the new cabooses with camera but didn't see a road name that was of interest to me. Also would like to wait anyway and see some reviews on these.
Haven't figured it out yet . Something, I'm sure. Probably not a Niagara, because I already have one, or that would be on the list.
Contrary to some here, I won't be worrying about quality because I have had virtually no quality issues with anything I've bought in the last 25 years or so.
And if something isn't right, my local dealer, or Charles Ro, Lionel will make it right or give me a complete refund. Sky is not falling to the best of my knowledge.
Hallowe'en USRA. Should be a tremendous addition to the Hallowe'en themed section of my new layout. Plus, several other Hallowe'en items. And the UP & SP standard, lighted box cars. Others, tbd.
The only thing that might concern me would be catching the "QC Paranoia" (clinical term -   of not buying that which I like (and can hopefully afford upon shipment).
Nothing. Wasn't much I really need.
Still waiting on 2016 catalog preorder.
What, me worry?
I would have pre-ordered the Frisco NW-2 but once again, Lionel got the wrong color.
Nothing for me. I will no longer pre-order Lionel products. I am not opposed to pre-ordering, I just need to trust that the manufacturer will deliver the product advertised and if when it arrives I am not satisfied I expect them to return it. I did recently reserve a set of GGD Super Chief passenger cars.
LC+ Nw-2s: Milw and NKP.
The Lionel lionchief Scooby Doo Train set plus the extra boxcar. Hopefully it will not get cancelled !
This year is going to be lean ! Too many other projects , including new train table , painting house, some roof work .
I preordered the Caboose with the Camera and the New Sensor Track that works with more than just one track type.
I also ordered the PRR caboose w/ camera. Due is Nov- Dec., Price (pre-order) is $ 97.95.
Not too bad when I paid about $89 to a train shop for pretty much an identical caboose w/ smoke. THAT one is beautiful!! Great detail, added-on parts, detailed chassis, nice!!
I may also order the Ready-To-Play Santa Fe set, since I am really interested to see how that looks in the large size! I can run it outdoors and I like the Ready-To-Play stuff. They're fun, low cost, and run well.
Ive given up on preordering. I think I'll take my chance just buying the reading and northern cars, and Pennsylvania RPO after the fact.
In the last month I had two preorders messed up, one lost and the other was the wrong product....
Same topic already going on and it is 5 pages so please post there since we don't need multiples of the same topic.....
