Will woodland scenics or scenic express foam incline decline starters work on o scale track mainly realtrax?

The short answer is yes they work good. However no matter which system you use you must design in transitions. You cannot go from one plane to another plane abruptly. So make a test section and try your longest steamer and your longest diesel and see if the pilot/plow hits the rail going both directions. At the top of the grade you will have the same situation but there you will need to try your longest rail cars to see if they stay coupled. My best advice is to build a test section and work out the bugs and see if their system will work for you. Russ

What you are looking for is an eased vertical curve. Also called a spiral curve.

I was also wondering if they were wide enough for o scale track. Does anyone have any pics of this being built?

You have to use two sets side by side (butted together) for O gauge track.
