    The chuff switch usually is activated by high spots on one of the axles. This engine since it has two chuffs per revolution has two high spots on one of the axles either the first or second drive axles.

    If you want to give the engine four chuffs per use JD Weld, can't remember the name of the product its not glue but you can mold two additional high spots which would register 4 chuffs per revolution.

JB-Weld. It's an epoxy laced with  powdered metal.
