Latest 3D SL signal design

It's pretty slick that you can print your own lenses. I'm envious!

Reduction in FormLabs 3+ price with the $500 extra deduction (from me as an owner) at $2000.

It's like a reasonably priced Lionel Steamer!!

In my latest signal design iteration I  split the signal head to facilitate inserting the SMD LEDs I got from my friend David at WeHonest on eBay.  The red-yellow-green LED were pre-wired at his facility in China.

the lens is 3D printed as well as a mini-Fresnel lens to fit flat into the signal head and to get the light focal point the same as a traditional LED. The lens has a rectangular opening to insert the SMD LEDs in the back of the lens.

Ever try something like a passenger car end cap? I know someone with a number of Welz Amfleet coaches with shrunken end caps that he's looking to get replacements for. He can supply a correctly-sized example if needed.
