Layout Progress Updated: 3-2-15

Another approach by Eric's trains building a mountain 4, 5 & 6 tutorial video.

That's how I did them lol. Been following his videos. I just got a little heavy handed on the black paint when I mixed it with the water.

Lance, the mountain came out great.  I like how the dark wash brings out all the cracks and crevasses in the rocks.  The lighting looks good too.  Nice and even throughout the layout.

Been a bit. Got some more work done. Finally liking how the tunnel portal is turning out on the one end. Did a little more ballast work behind the soon to be town. Lastly I hung some shelves this weekend as well!

Tunnel portal looks good Lance.  Dresses it up a lot better.  I used to have that many shelves in my train room in the beginning.   Didn't take long before I started adding more, and more, and more.....
