This is a 2 part question...
Does anyone have any subways on their layouts? If so how did you incorporate it into your layout?
Does anyone know when the DC Batman R2R Lion-chief set will be out?

I have 3 levels using Mianne Benchwork. My lowest level is the the subway. eventually, the only part that will be seen is a 4 foot underground station.
My subway pics are on my home computer. I will post them later. Here is a video of checking the subway clearances.
I used Tinplate track for a few reasons:
1. I have a ton of it.
2. It works.
3. Once the platforms and side walls go in, it cannot be seen.

Here are two I found on my work computer with the beginning construction of the platforms.
I have a subway line that I planned on when starting to build last year. Its not completely seen but I have 3 cutaways where visitors can see the station. I also have it come out and will be elevated over a lower city level.
FYI, there is an entire forum dedicated to Subways.

Go to Toy Trains on Tracks and order Part 3 of the DVD series (actually...get all 3....they are outstanding). Rich demonstrates how he constructed his elevated Trestle system around city buildings. I plan on constructing my own...coincidentally, in preparation for the release of Lionel's Batman subway cars, due out in October.

I have a small subway that is a loop under the tracks of my main urban passenger station. Only about 3 feet of it is visible (a subway station). Only pics i can find are some blurry ones of the subway platform.
