LCS & Tmcc connections | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I currently have the Legacy base, connected to the TMCC base via the Y cable. I then have the Z stuff data driver connected to the other end of the cable. Now, if I connect the LCS cable to the Legacy base, does that then eliminate the ability to connect the TMCC command base? I know from other threads the other tmcc components can connect via the new LCS Ser2 device but no one has stated how the old TMCC would connect in. I still like to use the old remote since it still works. Would it also plug into the new LCS Ser2 component?

You would still use the "Y" cable that came with the Legacy base. The LCS will plug in where the Z stuff is now. The Z Stuff will move to the SER2.
