I use lithium batteries in my Legacy remote. Whenever I get the low voltage indicator on the remote I test the batteries w/my multimeter & I find that the battery on the right side looking at the base from the back of the remote is always below 1.2 volts. the other batteries are above 1.5v or higher. Does anyone know why this happens?

I don't, but I'd start replacing just that battery.

I checked mine and even while the remote was defective all batteries discharged at same rate.

Hi Ken,

Do you use the Legacy base to recharge the lithium batteries, or do you remove the batteries and recharge them with an external charger?

Lithium batteries are not rechargeable. So if you are using Lithium or alkaline batteries be sure to turn off the charging circuit

I asked because my Hitachi drills and Skil screwdriver use Li-ion batteries and are rechargeable. Have not looked at AA's, though.
