I have this locomotive in for repair, no lights, markers, front or rear headlight. What should I see at the connection pad on the frame at the rear of the locomotive. There are two pads with violet wires, and one with a black wire. AC, DC ? Toggle AUX 2 on - off no change.

If you touch the spring board to the pad without the cab being on, what happens?
I have a U-boat that the lights only work in reverse but all the lights come on (forward/reverse at the same time) when I take an press the spring board to the pad they work correctly.
PS- that NH Rs11 is my favorite of the TMCC RS11's!
Following your suggestion, the lights work as they should. I'll adjust the contact plate and the shell connector to a working position.
