When it comes to headllights with is best the led or bulb?Which one you like the best?To me I like the bulb best but what yoiu guys?

No contest for me, the round top LED will look WAY better than any incandescent bulb. The bonus is it doesn't run hot, so there's no issue of melting things trying to get a decently bright headlight.
Some people lament the color of LED's vs bulbs, but that's a Red Herring. You can get LED's in any color temperature, I use stuff from Yellow to bright white, depending on the specific era of the locomotive. For steamers, I normally use either warm white or amber, that's from around 3,000K to 2,700K color temperature. I use yellow in the 2,300-2,500K range for lighting heavyweight coaches.

I like using LEDs as well. Most of my train items are recently purchased, so a lot of them use LEDs. Something I would like to try at some point, will more than likely only work using LEDs, I just need to be able to test it out at some point.

To tell the truth I am not to sure about.Which of my locomotives have led and which has bulbs.For I have mth trains lionel kline.I think my mth ps2 and ps3 are leds headlights.
Older Lionel, all K-Line, and MTH PS/2 have incandescent bulbs, new Lionel from around 2011 and MTH PS3 have LED.
