Can someone tell me when a Lionchief plus engine (4-6-4) runs with remote fine, but only get electronic beeping in conventional means?

Did you throw the Transformer / remote switch to Transformer? I believe it's inside the cab. Sounds like the engine is still looking for the remote.
The switch was under the cab and I missed it. Thank you Marty.
