Got a couple of items at two separate model train conventions. Both my most prized Lionel collection pieces. I haven't done anything with the Gateman yet but I was told when I bought it that it works fine. I did test the 2025 steamer though. It works ok but the whistle doesn't sound right. It's as if the air is struggling to get out of the tender. I also have to bring the power pretty high on the transformer to get the engine to go. Anyone have a fix for that?
Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 2025 in the picture I took was made in 1952 only.
