Lionel 52 Fire Car 1958

I just ran across a 52 Fire Car that only has lettering on one side of the car. Is this a known variation? I bought form original purchaser. No sign of any lettering on that side.

Not a known variation. Slipped out of the door with only one side stamped back in the day. It might be worth a few extra pennies to a postwar variation / factory error collector if there is anyone still collects these.
