Lionel Engine Box Question

I am tracking it.  Considering there is a complete boxed set with the boxed 231, all other boxes, including the set box currently at around $200, and a boxed 231 with original box sold for around $150, I'm really interested in seeing why this box has a $350 asking price on it.  I'm kind of wondering if they meant to put it at $35, which would seem more reasonable.

I could see a premium for a good box for the one year only 216 and 230 but the 231 was made for about 3 years and is quite common. I guess time will tell.

Did you notice the seller has like a dozen boxes, some freight car, all 350.00 each. I guess throw them on the wall and see what sticks.....

Thanks for pointing that out.  I didn't see it before.  The asking prices seem real strange considering many of the boxes are anything but rare.  The brick and mortar store associated with this seller is only about 15 minutes away from me.  I have never used them because they were always "The high priced spread".  I guess that still goes for their on-line accounts.
