Hello, new to the forums,I have a really stupid question that probably everyone knows,anyway here goes.I am only trying to make a starter oval,four curved on each side,and three straits to pull it all together. But whenever I try to connect the sections a gap opens up then when I push it together another gap opens,and so it goes all the way around the oval I would appreciate any input on this problem.Thank you .

Flip over the sections and let us know what sizes they are ---it is printed on the underside--ie 072-full curve.
Hi, they are 031 full curve,I thought that they would go together fine, but they"re not.
Where did you get your track? It sounds like there are mis-matched pieces, like maybe similar-looking O36 with O31. Show us a photo of all the pieces lined up side-by-side.

I assume you mean three straights on each side for a total of six. No way to make an oval with three straights!
As ACE said, check that all the curves are identical. Stacking them up on top of each other is a good way to tell, but they should all be marked.
