With the Lionel remote switches on the remote does it light up green when the lantern is green and lights up red when the lantern is red. Currently mine only lights green when the lantern is green and nothing when the lantern is red.

Yes, the red should light up.

I just returned a brand new one because of this. I checked everything and I even swapped the controller no good. I understand Lionel may have had a bad run of these. Nick
I have 4 of these and none of them turn red on the remote. I brought one into my local train shop that is a Lionel dealer and they replaced a wire harness resistor and rewire jumper connectors, Incase others are having the same issue. I’m not sure what would cause this to happen, I bought all my switches used so I guess you get what you pay for?
