Lionel fastrack switch problem

Can anyone help me identify what the issue is here? Permanent layout and i really dont want to rip the switch up. It would cause havoc. No dirt or debris is impeding movement at the switch or anti derailment spots. Thanks in advance

You don’t mention if this is happening when power is applied to that section of track or if you’re throwing the switch. Is the switch track powered or powered separately. IOW, we need some more details.
