appears that the set has been redecorated by PVP, as the label on the box states that. Note the set box is for the regular cataloged 30126 Penn Flyer, which is from 2010.
Ed - thanks so much for pointing that out and linking the older thread. I was trying to but a ballpark figure on it, and that info has helped.
Fun set with Maker's Mark signature "seal" on some of the cars. However, I rather have the whiskey...

I've been an 'Ambassador' for 20 yrs. Been on many distellery tours & have a lot of MM stuff...1st time I've saw this set though.
I went to high school in Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky. Kentuckians love their bourbon. I remember one of my friends getting caught drinking from a fifth of Markers Mark between classes. He was taken to the principal's office and his dad was called in; "We caught your son drinking this at his locker". The boy's father replied "That's my boy he only drinks the best".
Every Christmas M/M sends some little do-dad in the mail. This year it was itty-bitty ear muffs for a bottle of all things. Wish they would have sent this set instead. Not that I am really interested in it at the asking price, but, it does appear to have been a well done and thought out set.
