My new Norfolk Southern Lionel Legacy newly released SD80MAC is not responding to he new ID or any ID .

I placed my CSX SD80 MAC on the track first and programed it to an ID # and loaded the module. What a great sounding engine works great.

Then I did the SD80MAC Norfolk engine and it doesn't set to the ID and ID set the horn never blasts. When in program its lights up, head lights on and sound of engine on, it just not accepting the ID # and accept via a horn sound.

I tried to reset via the manual be it needs an ID # to do so.

Anyone with any suggestions  how to reset the engine or resolve this issue???

I would imagine that the fuel tank was made a bit shallow so that the locomotive can handle sharp changes in gradient without grounding. It is a fairly long locomotive and this could occur otherwise.

Since there's no information on exactly what you have, I'm assuming you are talking about a bare dummy with no electronics, and that's what I base my answer on.

If you are running under Legacy control, I don't think you'll find an add-on kit for a dummy.  There are no Legacy upgrade kits like the TMCC stuff that is available.  A TMCC one won't work if you're running in Legacy mode, the TMCC receiver won't recognize the commands.
