It is on Ebay auction. No 6- number is listed. Maybe un-cataloged? Listed as
"one -of-a- kind"

I didn't see a number that would identify it in Greenberg's guide book. I would use caution with this item. See if the seller will give you a complete Lionel number before you bid on it as the price is extremely high.

Never heard of it.
Without some sort of proof, how would you know it was factory painted?
I have made a purchase or two from that seller with no problems.

Is this a new interpretation of the rule?
In the past, we've been allowed to link EBay auctions for purposes of discussion, so long as the EBay auction did not belong to the poster, and the seller/bidders were not being ridiculed.
I found it on "everyone's favorite online auction".It's just a repaint and a simple one too.Unless the seller has some extremely good provenance,it's likely not a rare factory paint sample. Caveat Emptor.
One of a kind and he has two of them in separate auctions, LOL.
