"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Among the many things one can find to do in London, there is also the National Transport Museum. Kid friendly, spend easily 1 to 3 hrs (or perhaps more) learning the history of transport in and around london.  The top level is the oldest stuff, so the story starts there (Why?  No idea...)

Further there's some nifty but pricey model trains for sale -- OO-scale, which as I get it are HO-track sized & they help fund the place.

I'm hoping one day to get something myself, so I can't directly recommend any of it at this time.

(I believe all the bachmann produced items are DCC)

I would love to see the museum at York but not on this trip.  I will be taken the Virgin train out of London to Birmingham. It's only costing us 5 pounds each way . I don't think I can buy a sandwich on the Amtrak for that price.

My uncle in Stourbridge is having a party for his 100 birthday ! Relations from all over England ,Ireland and the U.S will be there.

We do plan to take a ride on the Severn Valley Railway. Anybody been on that one ?
