Hello all!! New here and i'm planning a toy rail Long Island RR layout. Would like to see layouts devoted to all or part of their layouts to the Long Island.

The Railroad Museum of Long Island has an HO layout in their Greenport location which has a Long Island RR theme. They are open on weekends through the summer. For more details go to the RMLI website.
There's been postings on a layout of the Oyster Bay Branch by Steamfan77 you would find interesting. One is here:
There are several clubs on the Island, Central Operating lines and TMB just to name a few. Do a google search for model RR clubs on Long Island for a listing.

We at the TMB3 layout in Farmingdale have quite a few members that run LIRR engines and equipment. Come on over and visit the layout, we are always looking for new members that can help build and run on the layout. Here is a link to our web site;

Frank Razz pictures depict nicely a corner of our 4,000SqFt layout. Be glad to arrange a tour and as Frank stated we are always on the look out for new members
