As we are about to enter our 67th year serving the Long Island and New York area we are making a number of changes and upgrades to our business. The first many of you may of seen with our staff, we hired a few new faces. Then we started on a renovation of our 3 buildings. New roofs, new lighting and long overdue paint job. A complete knock down and redesign of our office space and hall and a new bathroom. Redesign of our warehouse space and added electrical. Next year, a new floor (say goodby to those rugs! Yea!) and a redesign of our selling floor that will double the amount of product shown. Yesterday our new web site went "live" at nassauhobby.com and we invite you to check it out. We are adding stuff everyday and at this point have over 1000 items only on it for sale with new easier checkout and security. We also are planning a POS system that will hopefully be ready next year for a roll out with "up to the minite" inventory managment. Also a new larger layout is planned and a new front to the buildings. Please check out our new web site or stop in and say hello to either Chris or me. Thank You, Charlie.....

PROACTIVE! Great Job!
New Website looks really good! (and even loads relatively quickly on a slow dial up!)
Overall, a great improvement!

Nice site. At last something that works with Safari! So far only Lionel is up in 0 gauge, but I'm sure the others will be filled in shortly. I did notice one discrepancy between a product photo and description - a minor bug that I'm sure will be fixed. On the whole, I'm impressed.
Nice website. Very quick respsonse. I especially like a site that lets you change how many results you see. Getting only a few results and paging through them drives me nuts! (personal pet peeve).
hey southwest what is the bug so we can fix it thanks
Thanks for the update, Charlie. I knew Chris would move you into the 21st Century!
See you guys at York!
Thanks RT, same here!

Lionel freight cars. Picture of a flatcar with a piece of construction equipment (looks like a PWC item), caption is a UP boxcar if I remember right. That's the only one I noticed but I only gave it a quick once over as there wasn't much that interested me.
I'll call you Monday, gotta order a couple of Euro freight cars.
WOW 67 years in business and now expanding, upgrading and modernizing. That is impressive !
Congradulations on the success and I look forward to a visit my next trip up north.

Web site looks terrific and really is reponsive, super job!!!
Thank Chris again for helping me a week or so ago with the MTH OSU Buckeye freight cars. He may remember our conversations - I live about 3 miloes from "THE Shoe" here in Columbus.
I mentioned that I have been in your store... the "Ex" lived on Demott Ave just of off Wantagh Pkwy near "The Ponds". Next time I'm in town, I'll have to stop in and see all of the changes at the old shoppe!
Congratulations guys... GREAT job!
Best,
Dave
Charlie and Chris,
Congratulations on the new website and improvements to the store. It couldn't happen to two nicer guys.
Hope you are in business for another 67 years.
Continued good luck in the future. Who did you recently hire in additional to Steve Musso?
Erol Gurcan

Congratulations Charlie. I wish you, Chris, and the rest of the staff another 67 years of providing outstanding customer service to the O Gauge community.
