I wanted to contribute a photo this week, and hopefully make a trend in various forums on here, by sharing some of my late father's collection. I have trains, too, but some of his were stunning, and deserve to be seen.
This photo is from this past Saturday, when we had my father's celebration of life. I set up the table with mementos from his life (Boy Scout awards, Air Force items from his time in Korea, vintage baseball cards, photos and of course trains!)
I chose his favorite 2 trains to put on the table: the MPC era Blue Comet loco and the 752E M-10000 set. The M-10000 is all in the original boxes, and this is one of the few times it's ever been out of the boxes, to be displayed on the table proudly:
Over time, I'll share more of the trains here, the Tinplate forum or the HONGZ forum, as he had an amazing Lionel OO set that he put together over time!
