In September of 2014 I posted a note on this forum about adapting MTH 6 wheel trucks to Lionel / K Line 18" Milwaukee Road Superdome rail car that came with the wrong 4 wheel trucks.
One man stepped and said he could do it, and do it he did!
He is Bernie Winkler of Titusville, Florida.
He said that he could make the conversion look and preform like factory.
I supplied a pair of MTH 6 wheel passenger trucks with the mounting screws. (Most important!)
He did the rest without having to butcher the car.
He's a craftsman!

The car navigates all my 072 radius curves without a hitch. Coupler height and spacing account for the roof lining up front and back.
Now the streamlined "Hiawatha" is prototypically correct.
