I have an MTH Galloping Goose PS1 that I want to upgrade to TMCC or PS2. What do I need in order to do this?

If you want TMCC, I did it with the ERR Cruise Commander Lite and an ERR RailSounds Commander. If you want PS/2, you can use the PS/2 diesel upgrade kit.
I really like all the sounds that it makes--station stops-- crickets chirping, etc. I messed around a little on the proto sound website, and I see that there are special sound files just for the replacement/upgrade boards. Are these files exact replacements for the original PS1 sounds? Or are they more generic?
A new PS3 unit is $220 plus shipping-- and I paid about $150 shipped for my PS1-- (Not understanding at the time that it was not DCS controlled) -- so it is hard to justify spending a lot to upgrade-- especially if you end up with a generic sound set. This is a fun unusual model-- not to scale-- but still a fun piece.

I'll try to dig the box out and get the number.
Download the sound file in question and just load it into a generic diesel as a test. You can hear all the sound effects and see if you like them. I usually take a board set and connect it to my test set and check sound files.
