Any word on when new MTH UP Veranda Turbine will be delivered?

If you're referring to 20-20164-1 which was catalogued in 2011 Vol 1, the MTH website shows Jan 2012, which would be WONDERFUL since I'm still waiting to even see them publish a delivery date for the new PS3 Climax locomotives that were displayed in the same catalog BUT whose ship date remains a big TBA for months now. 
That's my first planned loco purchase in about 7-8 years, and wouldn't you know I'll probably need to wait it out a bit more. If anyone has heard anything about those little MTH steamers, please chime in.

Yes I am referring to the new MTH veranda turbine from the 2011 vol 1 catalog.
It was explained at the DCS Users Group meeting at York that the delay is due to MTH's inability to get chips. They are such a small purchaser compared to other electronics manufacturers that their orders do not receive priority and the market has apparently been tight in recent months.
I understand from Bill Lucas at Ready to Roll that there are major problems with producing MTH steamers. But, I was hoping that non-diecast items would affected less severely. I suppose we shall see.
