Looks good, Jim!
look at all that motive power waiting in the wings!
I see one glaring flaw with your layout...it needs to be in a dark dungeon of a basement (like mine!) That really looks great, and a five track main! Love to see what power is lurking over there.....
Hi Jim • Congrats • Looks great........
it must be fun running all the lines at once. I noticed that same thing as Dave...very nice to have a room and not a basement layout.
My layout has developed along lines that I wanted based on finances and time. Lots of engines(more than what is on the layout), plenty of track, the straights are all pretty much 40" lengths for smoothness, just enough scenery to make it interesting and a convenient, open, lighted location. I can turn it on and run a train for 5 minutes if I wan. I have occasionally run all 5 tracks but it gets pretty wild. Four tracks seems better, two are fun. My pre- war are in a glass case and there are shelves on one wall holding more cars and engines- mostly odd ball stuff. I think you can see a little of the Standard gauge on the floor
That looks like tons of fun. No doubt it would be fascinating inspecting each piece in your collection too.

Thanks for the photos; I love the PW accessories, and confess I couldn't run more than two trains at one time.
Well done!
Peter
Looks good but why not make some shelves between the legs so you would have more room for scenery of sidings?

access to the part against the back wall. Always open to suggestions.
