When the L&N and NC&St L merged did any of the NC&StL cabooses get relettered L&N? Mostly interested in the outside braced center cupola type,

Scott, in an effort to get some more clarity to your question:
I was unable to find any NC&StL caboose that L&N renumbered and added to their roster. But I did find an outside braced center cupola NC&StL caboose, specifically #20. Is this an example of what you are looking for?

I did a little research on the lnrr.org website under Equipment Roster, especially after the 1957 merger of NC&StL. On January 1, 1959 L&N acquired 88 cabooses from NC&StL, of which, only 27 were non-baywindow cabooses. They were called "Standard" and listed from two different groups: Numbers 1 to 20 and numbers 30 to 43.
From my first post it would seem that the outside braced center cupolas were in the first group of numbers 1 to 20. (My guess is that NC&StL caboose numbers 30 to 43 were steel sided.)
In 1959 they had 14 Standard cabooses from those numbered 1 to 20.
In 1960 that number decreased to 4
And by 1963 that number decreased to 3.
As best I can tell, it seems as though L&N didn't bother to put them in L&N colors or with L&N specific numbers.
I wait for some L&N experts to comment.
Thanks for the research!! That is in fact the type of caboose I am interested in. I could understand the L&N not wanting to throw money repainting something they were going to retire in a couple years.
I am always interested in anything L&N and/or NC&StL, but especially around the merger time period. I am happy to have been of some assistance. All my O-gauge modelling focuses on L&N and NC&StL just prior to the merger.
