We are very sorry that happened. The IT team here has been working very hard trying to get the site fixed. They have been adding products all morning to get through the backlog.

 

The Tinplate car you tried to order was changed from a Pre-Order to a regular item since it just came in stock. This is a $499.99 car that still had the Pre-Order price of $49.99 attached. We caught it and were updating the product as you were ordering it.

 

Again we are sorry this happened.

 

No problem as I was hoping beyond hope that it would have been real perhaps a first on the site offer or whatever

I didn't need it...but I did it anyway...grabbed the Lionel Illinois Terminal SD70ACE for 269.00 shipped. Unbelievable deal.  I always liked that green scheme..been on the fence for a while...was considering the Railking MTH version... but this sale pushed me over.  My first Lionel diesel purchase outside of the Conventional Classics

Still issues. The site will not load on my system using Google Chrome as browser.

Same here....does not load.  I am running Safari on my iPad.

Can't get to page two on most of the categories

It does load using Safari on the iPad when I try it... but with the same 7-10 second delay most everyone else has noticed when accessing the site from a browser running on a computer.

Ok...it loaded after half a minute or so.  I normally bail after about 7 seconds or so when a page does not load.  As Ed said, can't navigate beyond Page 1 on the Lionel closeout page.

I have a question.  Does the old account from the original website carry over to this one?  

 

I tried to sign in with my email and password from the old site but it was not found.

 

I have several pre order items that I paid a deposit on and was wondering how this was being tracked.

There is still a real page loading problem. Using iPad, page did not load just now on two different tries. Just Trains page from OGR Forum banner above loaded immediately When I tested it at the same time and location.

Yes, Pre-Orders without pictures ARE available. It just means that a picture for the product was not supplied by the manufacturer.

I just figured out what the issue was.

It is an un-handled error, as unless you login first, you will not be given an option to Login, Create a New Account, or check out as a Guest...it just bombs out with that message of "The service is unavailable".

I just logged in, and all worked fine.

You might want to offer the option to Login, Create a New Account, or check out as a Guest, during some point of the check out process or just create a handled error stating "You Must Login First", if that is to be Nassau's policy.

Otherwise, new customers might just think the site is broken, down or the store is out of business.

I am almost certain that is how your site used to be.

Regardless, I got my pre-order in with you!
