Northern Central Railroad's #10, a 1946 GE 44 Ton locomotive lead the Steam Into History train while steam locomotive #17 is out for inspection & maintenance. NCRR #10 is on loan from the Stewartstown Railroad.
Funny but if your only experience with this loco is the scale model or toy, your perception of it is that it's "dinky". However, standing alongside the real thing you realize that this is a substantial piece of machinery and certainly a "real" locomotive. The smaller size of it matches up perfectly with its' originally intended role. She handles the train with ease.
