Hi, I acquired this O scale Neff Live Steam locomotive which I am about to restore. I can find very little about it or the maker.
Does anyone know anything about them or where I could find any information. It is beautifully made and even has working drain cocks. One of the valve rods is broken but otherwise is in good condition. I intend to run it on my outdoor O gauge railway but before I start I would like to get all the information I can. I really want to make this a show piece given the skill of the original maker whom I would like to know more about. All I can find was that he made batches of live steam locos using Kemtron detailing parts in the 1940s and 1950s. The gauge 1 live steam loco in the background was in for repair, I stick to O gauge.
Cheers
Pete
