New Legacy Question

I just received my 990on Sat. still trying to figure it ALL out, but my main question for now is, when I shut the engines down they go thru their shut sequence just fine but the number boards stay on until I turn track power off. my engines are sd-70ace and f-7 aa both with legacy.

That is normal form them to do that.

For some reason, doubtless because they didn't have unique control, many (all?) of the Legacy engines leave the number boards lighted.
