LC+ GG1 Oh yeah! Any vision line reefers for the big boy and is there a 49er big boy?
TRAINLOVER9943,
Just regular plug door reefers, I did not see a 49er, just a selection of UP. EM-1's are well represented.

Ah cool. What paint scheme of the GG1s are offered and are there any other LC+2.0 engines in the catalog?
TRAINLOVER9943,
GG-1, there are five painted versions to select from (2 tuscan, 1 silver, 2 brunswick green), also SD80 MACS in LC+2.
Sweet! Can't wait to see what the rest of the catalog has!
Where did U see the 2nd Issue? I didn’t think it was out until July 22 !!!
Dealers have info already I'm sure, maybe even catalogs, the last one was leaked early.
Some shop must be leaking it again. I know my dealer got a list but he ain't talking.
Can someone post a link?
Shame that they didn't make an Amtrak LC+ GG1, as far as I heard.
GG1 LC 2.0 is what I've been waiting for. But if no Amtrak scheme, I will have to wait longer!
What scale are the EM-1s?
I'm really excited for this!
Just out of curiosity I looked on ebay. They're on there.
Bill
One of the catalog listings on the "auction site" has some page photos.

Had a good local laugh over one selection. Our first trains customer for the day was looking for some WBB non-aluminum passenger cars in SP's Daylight colors to go behind his new WBB Daylight steamer. He had been trying to pull a complete train of Lionel aluminum passenger cars so decorated. Claimed the engine hardly had enough moxie to pull three! (???).
Anyhow, when we were leafing through the new catalog we came across Lionel's new offering of the single-truck camp cars.........you guessed it!.....in SP's Daylight colors. Yep.....Just what the customer will need....sleepers, coaches, diner,.......why, I'll bet his WBB 4-8-4 can pull a couple dozen of those cuties!!
And that new Santa Fe 'Blue Moose'?.....a 3751 painted in 'Goose Blue and Silver'!?!?!? Holy Moly!
And LOTS of BTO's........the new norm.
All in all.....
Great picture! If I was doing marketing for Lionel, I would make that child the poster boy.
looking forward to new catalog - want some high-end steam and hopefully something Canadian.
😎
I'm in for the Morristown & Erie S-2 Alco switcher.... hope there's a matching caboose....
Hopefully the Bush train is in there

That one is high on my list wish as well!

The President and Barbara are smiling up in heaven. You will not be disappointed.

link please...
Let me be the first to say there's nothing in that catalog that piques my interest ... and those prices! OMG!! They are killing the hobby! Just kidding, I have yet to see the catalog.
What, me worry?
The GG1 is a welcome sight. Not sure about the price of $499. Have to check the mark downs offered.
Could we see the George Bush Funeral train?
They'll sell a ton of GG1s. That was one of top responses to several threads polling interest in what Lionel should make in the Lion Chief Plus line.

I'm sure they will. I'm just not sure if I want to spend 500 on one. I could buy a lot of post-war goodies with that money.
If one of the big guys has it marked down enough I will probably spring for one though.
I'm goin' whole hog buying Hobos!
I hear the Norfolk southern OCS is in there
Here’s an EBay link with some more pictures. So far the only thing I’m interested in getting is the First Run Edition of the 4014. Looking forward to see what the rest of the catalog has!

Did someone say Norfolk Southern OCS?...
So far, nothing for me. I need to see the whole catalog. Steam engines and GG-1's are auto-fail as are first generation diesels from eastern roads. I've gotten very particular in my old age.
What is a Norfolk Southern OCS?...

Thank you Peter. the internet gave me this photo.
that OCS is gonna make my wallet hurt

Some bizarre steam. I do seem to see 2 Frisco 4-8-4's - repainted ATSF 3751 and classmates - which is interesting, in a way. Has not MTH offered Frisco 4-8-4's based on their tooling of the (larger) 2900-class ATSF 4-8-4's?
Now Friscoites (I'm one, minor league) can collect 'em all!
Let's see this blue goose!
I ordered the catalog from eBay listing, will have it Friday
The Alaska set is tempting........
All I gotta say is...WOW on that front cover. I had to double take...it looks just like the real 4014!
Could you post pictures of the George Bush Funeral train and other UP passenger cars?
Any other streamlined passenger cars?
Any photos of the OCS units?

Thank you for posting that. Was able to see the Morristown & Erie swithcer.
That Santa Fe Blue Goose scheme is giving me Snow Miser vibes...

Me too. Even the heavyweights too.
I also hope with these new Vision Line Big Boys, the price tags on the 2014 version will go down on eBay.
This may be a dum question but... is the volume 2 rely out for the public or is it out for stores?

I don't think there vision, I think there just standard O ones with the road specific crew talk. They're reusing some of the numbers from the vision run which more than likely is why they have road specific crew talk since they have the files already.
I'm dying to see those Union Pacific add-on passenger cars.
Trainmaster04 posted:This may be a dum question but... is the volume 2 rely out for the public or is it out for stores?
Just being leaked. Official release date is July 22.
What other legacy diesels are in there? Any E units?

Who knows?😉
I can always wait for 2020 Volume 1 for Art Lockman Baggage (existing tooling) & Howard Fogg Dormitory Car (new tooling).
The diesel locos chosen for production are a rarity, but I like the paint scheme.
Andrew
I wanna see all the SD70ACe's in the new catalog!!!!
The GM-EMD diesel locos need to have the LED lighting improved over previous production by having dual color marker lights that are WHITE facing Forward and RED facing Backwards.
Anderw
Are there any Legacy Subways in this catalog?
What are the diesels being made?
N&WGuy posted:Are there any Legacy Subways in this catalog?
I'm not buying a subway until the doors open and close, AND Little People run in and out, AND it doesn't cost more than $500.
How about a Legacy NKP switcher?

Could very well be the very best cover on a toy train catalog. EVER.
I didn't see any 20th Century Limited or Dreyfuss Hudsons. Hopefully next catalog.

I saw those. The Youngstown sheet definitely got my attention

Could we please see the SD70ACes before they delete the leak?
Peter Araujo posted:Could we please see the SD70ACes before they delete the leak?
Good point. Can we see the I-12 steamers too?
Well, I am one of the few conventional runners left, so motive power is pretty much a dead issue for me any more. Even. LC+ is more than I need and you pay a price for the extra features.
I will need to stick to occasional rolling stock in the new catalogs, I guess. They stopped making the postwar style 15” aluminum passenger cars, too. I have plenty of those from past issues, of course, so no complaints
As with many other things, time is quickly leaving me behind when it comes to model railroading. Give me my postwar.
Also how about scale rolling stock? I am waiting on Western Allegheny and buffalo Rochester and Pittsburgh Gla/ USRA hoppers.
@Dj'sOgaugetrains I'm pretty sure the I-12 is a bay-window caboose based on a B&O prototype, not a steam locomotive. They've been made before. You might be confusing it with the I10 designation for a PRR Decapod (which have also been made before ;-)
Can anyone post more catalog pics?
Yeah, like

Ah cool. It’s mentioned in the very first post in this thread. I thought it was a small steamer. But yeah now I remember the Lionel caboose. I had one years ago. Thanks!
We want more! We want more!!!!!!

I have not seen the hard copy catalog yet so I must be missing something in the feature sets of the various add-on cars. Otherwise I can't see why single dome cars have a MSRP of $329 and two car expansion sets on the same pages, each including a dome car, have a MSRP of $359. What gives?

WI-FI video cameras are installed in the "vistavision" dome cars.

Another fantasy paint scheme? I took to reading what I could there and it says was to be shrouded like the Hudson but never happened. Couldn't see about the paint scheme completely, but it sounds like it never happened either.
I like that they brought this back, can't wait. I'm also wondering what else the catalog will have in store besides the big boy and the Santa Fe's?
