New proto 3 sounds in 3 rail

I am curious if the quality of the new proto sound in the latest engines by mth has equaled the new lionel legacy. After I run my new sf 3751 with the chuff on heavy it makes my mikes engines chuff sound tinny or no bass. Sure would be nice to get the same great sound as the lionel legacy engines have.
