Please make a modern Vision Line diesel, Lionel. It's been a while (2010 with the CP GEVO Hybrid and UP/NS Genset Switchers). Plus a modern freight loco would mean that I might be able to get some of the Vision Ethanol Tank Cars (I want those, too). A Siemens ALC-42 Charger, ET44AC/ET44C4, or SD70ACe-T4 are the top 3 Vision modern diesels I want on my layout.

Anyone else catch wind that it's gonna be the exMTH Erie Triplex?? Will also be offered in a super set. Saw this on another train thread.

If it is indeed that, I'm out but it would be great to see it regardless. Also, wasn't the Triplex used on one other railroad or was that a fantasy scheme by MTH? I sort of forget as I know Eric of Eric's Trains had said something about the other one modeled.

This would be bad for my wallet but does the time line add up? Visionline products are years in the making. Lionel only acquired some MTH stuff in 2021. I just wonder if we're going to have to wait two more years.

On the other hand, I'll be getting a second job if it turns out to be true

On the 13th Lionel will be unveiling their Vision line "Color Vision" not a new locomotive but rather a promise that moving forward they will have "Vision" and see what color they are painting things. LOL

That would be great since I have sharks with a different colored addon b unit. But hey as long as people keep buying they do not have to worry about their mistakes.

Erie and the Virginian were the only ones who had them. Cool engine but I do not want ro need one not my RR.

When MTH did them previously, they carried the Erie's 2-8-8-8-2 wheel config over to their Virginian model, which is incorrect (the sole VGN triplex prototype, #700, was a 2-8-8-8-4).  This error would be a deal breaker for me if it's not fixed, especially with a Vision Line price tag.

When I go to Lionels website on my phone and look under Visionline a frosted image of the front of a steam engine with a red Pennsylvania keystone on it appears, it also says image coming soon over the picture. I can't get the image to appear on the website on my computer, only my phone. It could be just a stock image Lionel used, or maybe it is the engine, or maybe Lionel is just messing with us.

Yes, I am aware. I was just pointing out the fact only 2 RR's had triplexes. I made no mention of wheel arrangement but they were both called triplexes.

Yeah, the Virginian, that was the other one. I do remember Eric had said that the trailering truck was not correct, which he said was a shame if I recall. I think if they do do this, that should be something that they correct. This way they can say it is correct per the wheel arrangement. I'm sure something would not be pleasing to the river counters.
