This custom made O scale model of the 20-axle Westinghouse 202 Schnabel is 36 inches in length with scale model transformer load attached.
The model uses a combination of 3 axle trucks and 2 axle trucks. Wheel arrangement shown.

The prototype Westinghouse 202 was built in 1969 to carry large transformers from the Westinghouse Electric Company's Large Transformer Division at Muncie, Indiana to their final destination. With 20 axles, it is one of the largest rail cars in use today. The prototype railcar is now owned by ABB and is designated as PTDX 202.

The scale model is composed of two identical Schnabel "halves" which attach to a 25 foot scale length transformer load. The model includes reduced pivots identical to the prototype. The wheel base for each halve is 49-1/2 scale feet. Coupled length with load attached is 144 scale feet. Model photos of the Schnabel car with attached 25 foot scale model transformer load shown.
