OGR FORUM - How Many Daily Visits??

I visit 3-Rail-O27 most frequently and check in about 5 times a day.

Usually twice,morning and evening.

I check the "all topics" portion quite a few times a day to see what's new.

The three-rail forum is just one click away, and I enjoy it a lot, so I probably check it three times a day.

I have it loaded on my smart phone and check the buy sell forum and the 3 rail O-27 forum all the time. Very addictive. At night though I am running trains or workin' on the railroad.

My computer stays on for months at a time. I always have a browser open with about six tabs. This is usually one of them. So I sign on every couple of months.

I pretty much only look at the 3 Rail 027 forum.

 

I have my email set up to receive all new topics, so I really don't have to go to the forum unless I'm following a post. If I'm interested in a new topic thats in my email, I click on the subject and it brings me directly to the forum.

why do people say this?

 

maybe the orignal poster is just trying to see where they fit in. 

 

by the way I visit several times a day. and my wife visits several other times a day.

Two or three time daily on the 027 Forum... this varies depending on whether there is a hot thread in progress.

I check out the forum a couple times a day on average. I mostly just look at the Recent posts applet and see if there is anything in there that interests me.

Like a lot of other folks, I check in maybe 3 or 4 times a day.  But today, it looks like I'll be on here all day.   For some reason, I cannot sign out???????

The tinplate forum can be slow, but I check it first. Then the 3-rail, then the buy/sell board. Several times a day using the iPhone app

Five to ten times a day. It may be seconds or minutes. Always like to see the questions and comments and all the great photos.

At least once a day......my favourites are the 3-rail, track plans & scenery forums.

I check in frequently so as not to miss the fights. Sometimes its's the best part.

I'm retired, so on some days, up to 3 times, unless I'm at the beach. I like to see the "York" section so I can "smack someone over the head" for wanting cell phones, cameras, strollers, or the public.

I also like "scenic" topics these days. They are far better than what was the "rage" 5-7 years ago...how to scenic for free from a dumpster.

Once a day on my lunch break. I espeically appreciate the new Electrical and York forums.

5 to 10 times a day for me.

3 rail 027 is the place I go to most.

and since every one tracks everything.

I also use it to get to as many of the vendors as I can.

If I am looking to see what is up at Western Depot  I will hit refresh until the ad shows up then click on the ad.

Or if I want to go to RMT I use the forum as my jumping off point

Twice a day normally; first thing in the morning when I get to work and then again during lunch.  3 rail 0-27 and Real Trains are my two most frequent destinations.

After every meal - oh wait, that's brushing my teeth.

 

But, by coincidence, three is also the number of times I check the forum most days. Perhaps a few extra times if I've just started a thread that will probably generate questions to be answered.

3-5 times a day....default shortcut takes me to buy-sell board, though I don't buy or sell much. Then I meander over to this board. Still a fun time here.

I visit 3-4 times a day on average - usually before work, on break, at lunch and after work.  Sometimes, like tonight, just before bed is added to the list.

 

I usually poke around the regular 3-rail section, the real trains section and, if the mood strikes, the York section.  I occasionally pop in to the other sections to see if anything interesting (to me) is going on.

I visit the forum every morning, 6.30 European time. It's almost a ritual: starting up the computer, meanwhile making coffee and I'm sorry to confess but I do smoke...so collecting ash tray-lighter-cigarette and installing myself in front of the screen. I start with the mail, from there I hook myself on to the topics. 3-Rail and Tinplate first, then other topics.

Time is running away, actually I'm always a bit late leaving my apartment. I try hard, but can't hardly resist to search Ebay, to see what's up regarding Lionel trains mostly.

Things go really different ways when I try to post. English isn't my native language so I have to check my dictionary. What can I say: smoking kills, I should be on the road yet but I do learn a lot about trains, English grammar and it's fascinating to be in touch with people on the other side of the pond. It's fun!
