I snapped a few photos of the 'boys" at work, great day, plenty of talking and cups of tea and coffee and of course my sandwiches. Roo.

Looks like a great time.
Looks like you have a good group of operators Nev. It's a valuable resource to have those who can manage their segment of the operating plan without having to be retrained each time. They come for the fun and those special sandwiches you make...was hoping for a photo of those too mate...

Too far for me to taste those sandwiches!!!
This energetic team seems very busy!
Wonderful layout!

Gorgeous layout.....even though it is an urban setting, it feels "uncrowded".
Looks like a lot of fun!

Thank you for the kind remarks.
It has taken a long time to get a good team together and with an expansion of the Steel mill coming up I will need them. One of the operators Raoul, was originally from France that's the bloke on the right in the first photo.
I let the boys run the Railroad while I make the coffee and tea and of course the sandwiches!
I have further plans to increase the passenger service as well one day.
The photo shows the new yard ready for the track it will be ready for next Friday's session and while my wife has been recovering from her accident I rebuilt my work bench in the house it's almost finished.
Take care. Roo.

I've gotta get over there, Roo.
Once our Convention in September is over, I must make an effort.
Great looking layout Roo. Looks like you've got a good group of guys there. A bit far from NY for a sandwich though, do you deliver?
Bob
nice! thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind remarks. Delivering sandwiches 16,000 miles is not impossible but expensive ! I notice we had some California oranges in the supermarket the other day.
Nothing to do with operation this is the other end of the bench I just cleaned it up at long last.
