Apologies if I have this in the wrong category...I'm repainting my Williams Bachmann 44 ton...and for the life of me I can't match this paint color...it seems to change from photo to photo...any help would be greatly appreciated!!

With a loco like that you pick one photo and paint it to match it. All the photos you show are different.....
As for what color??? I'd grab a bottle of a sky blue, white and mix until happy.....who can debate you???

Yes that loco is faded to varying shades all over the body.Might want to start with Conrail blue and white to get the shade that you like.
Each photo shows a different shade of blue. Makes it sort of hard to figure out the true color but maybe these could be close. Darker one is Boston and Maine blue the other is Conrail blue............Paul
To me the cab is a darker blue so what might want to do is do it in the cab in B&M blue and the rest in Conrail blue. I think it would be a good looking engine that way.

Kevin I forgot to mention got those colors from MinuteMan scale models. It is the old Weaver Scalecoat line.....Paul
