When you're Max's age, life's other more pressing demands have a way of catching up with you. He'll be back in full force at some point, but I suspect it may be a while.
I'm his friend on FB, & he's been a bit preoccupied since his friend Dakota was in a motorcycle accident. He's been busy trying to raise money to help hom, which I think is great
We all go through different changes and phases of our lives. I am sure Max has a lot of other things on his mind. I was out of the hobby from Middle School to my 30's. It took having children to get me back into it.
Max is still working on his new layout. He added a few things to it over the holiday, continued with some scenery work and currently has in process a small project related to an MTH switch tower.
Because of Dakota's accident and trying to help both him and his family, Max isn't spending near as much time in the basement as in the past. He does still make it downstairs to "putter around" about once a week, however.
His golf practices and season will be starting up soon, so I'd imagine that the projects he is working on will likely not be completed before the end of school in May.
