I know I can get a custom paint color match at an auto body supply store, but would anyone out there be able to recommend a restoration paint that matches the Lionel Olive Green used on the number 18, 19, 190 cars and other early prewar engines and cars?

I don't need but to just do a couple of small little brush touchups, and don't feel the need to get a half pint of custom color.

Thanks.

Please do not use the Trainenamel olive green on your #18 series cars... It is nowhere near a match to the original green.

I did a LOT of research into the olive green paint used on those cars and finally had to have paint custom matched. None of the toy train paint vendors had anything close and no pre-made spray paint I tested came close either (that includes Hennings).

I am an artist and have been mixing/matching paint colors all my life so mismathced colors really stand out to me.

I still have some PPG enamel I used to paint my 1912 era #18 set. If you just need a little for touch up contact me off list and I'll send you some. It'll be close...
