Thanks Carl, but I couldn't find anything about how to print a small layout onto an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet.  When I tried to print the layout, it wanted to print a whole lot of pages.  All empty except for a very small picture of my layout in the upper corner of the last sheet.

I stopped the printer way before it reached that point however.....LOL

Dan,

When we converted Robert's layout from SCARM to railmodeller, we were focused more on cut tracks and working around missing Ross switches from the library. he did create prints of the track plan.

I believe you have to determine all of the settings - so you don't get a large scale job like to had going on- where you do that is your question - I don't know that answer

He's a mac and Windows guy, I only run windows

When the print dialog box opens after you click on print you need to adjust the zoom factor.

This will allow you change how many pages will print out for what you want to show on the layout.

When the "print" box opens, I tried to adjust the zoom factor.  The best I can do is fill about half an 8 1/2" x 11" page.  But even with doing that the printer still wants to print out the entire grid of Railmodeller Express.

Dan,

In the print box on the left side there is a preview of what you are printing. Under the preview there is a page count and directional arrows. Use the arrows to figure what your page count is for what you want printed. Once you know how many pages you want to print then adjust then the pages to print to that number. The program wanting to print more than what you want happened with many programs. If the print driver see something to print it will try to print it.
