My base/cab 1L will be here on Monday. How do I program my legacy GP-9 and crew talk caboose? Also my TMCC F3A and F3B legacy unit.

are your engines already programed or is this the first time?
put engine on track, power up track. set engine switch from run to program, pick a number press engine on remote type number in remote press set. horn or light will flash. turn off track power, move engine switch to run. run train.
for caboose do same.
Thanks for the reply bigdodgetrain, I should have explained it better. They are already programed with eng id's using my original cab 1. Need to know how to make them into a lash-up where they will work together. Is this possible with one being an tmcc unit and the other a legacy unit? Will be putting my original cab1 and base away and using my new legacy cab1L/base1L. Just picked up the legacy GP9 yesterday and waiting for the fedex delivery today of my cab1L/base 1l

they probably will not play well together. the legacy unit will have to be set up as a TMCC. a lot of the TMCC units and Legacy units do not work as advertised. with the legacy cab2 unit that is easy to set the legacy unit to TMCC. your legacy unit should come up as a TMCC with the cab1 but I do not know about the cab1L. this cab1L is new to most of us.
