One of my 682's was running badly the other day and I discovered that one of the rear driver wheels was loose.  I put some medium Loktight on and let it set for a week.  It was running fine again but I see the wheel is loose again.  is there something out there instead of super glue that I can use to keep the wheel on or am I eventually going to have to replace the wheel with another one.  Thanks in advance

What does loose mean?

Can you make it wobble?
Can you twist the wheel without the axle moving?
If the answer to either of these questions is yes, I have my doubts about Loctite working.

If the wheel will slide in and out on the axle, but not twist or wobble, I think the Loctite would work fine.
One has to be careful to clean away any grease or oil. I use mineral spirits. (make certain to let it dry)

If the engine was on my bench, I'd try some Loctite first. If that fix failed, I'd go for a new wheel. I'd likely order an axle too.

By the way, what did you use? In one place you wrote "Loktite" and in another "super glue".
